Pip Seymour
Pip Seymour is a painter and writer, who lives in England and Italy. He studied Fine Art at Bradford College of Art, Winchester School of Art and Brighton Polytechnic and has been a practising artist since the mid-1980s.
He has lectured in painting materials and techniques at a number of institutions since the late 1908s, including Camberwell College of Art & Design, Birmingham City University, University of Northumbria, Winchester School of Art, The Prince’s Drawing School (now Royal Drawing School), Glasgow School of Art, University of Central Lancashire, Manchester Met – and has run workshops on paint technique for many years in Italy and at a number of museums in the UK: Abbot Hall, Kendal, the Colour Museum, Bradford.
Pip has shown widely in the UK and Europe since the mid 1980s.
Rebecca Wallace and Pip Seymour showed together for the first time at Heaton Cooper Gallery, Grasmere in 2025.
