Rebecca Wallace-Jones

Rebecca is a painter and paint-maker, born in London. Rebecca studied Foundation Art and Design at Oxford College of Further Education, BA Hons Fine Art from North Oxfordshire College of Art and the Prince’s Drawing School now known as the Royal Drawing School. Her interests are the narrative and mystery that can be conveyed through techniques of construction and selective uses of particular pigments. She works from the figure with large scale drawings and studies directly from the landscape.
Rebecca founded Wallace Seymour Fine Art Products with painter Pip Seymour in 2011.
Through their work in the field of painting and drawing materials, the company have delivered many technical workshops for artists, both within art schools and independent organisations.
Their over-riding mission is to introduce the notion of good practice with materials and further a broader understanding of painting materials and technique within contemporary practice.
